My Aim in education

I was interested to involve in education field because my two elder brothers also were in teaching. I planned to establish a school   myself because I could run it in my modality .I wanted  open a English medium school as there was no attraction of parents towards  government school due to Nepali medium. Parents wanted their child to educated  in English medium school. So I established Blue Sky Public school in 1996.I opened this school in a simple collage. Due to financial problems I could not give any other facilities except education in English medium. My plan was to attract two types’ parents. One group was those parents who could pay money so that school could be independent .The other group was low economic people who would need a good education. But I could not admit first group because I could not provide the facilities according to their interest for their children. Most of children were from poor family. The school was facing great problem. The government of Nepal does not support any help to private school .They can be run only by school fees, donation and sponsorship. I would arrange a well equipped library for children and computer lab and science lab. There were only 5/6 books at my office. I was looking for helping hands to develop this school. In 2003, I met my Australian friend David Rusk who was a principal in Adelaide, South Australia. He was very interested to my school as he saw the poor condition of the school. I thank to God for sending such good man at my school. David spent some hours at my school on that day. He gave me a positive response what he could do. He sent his friend Margaret Congram from Rotary club Black wood, South Australia with some help. I was very happy to welcome Margaret at my school. She was very impressed with my students who were smiling and happy at school. She remarked my library with five books that she still talks as we meet. She arranged  some books for students. We talked some future plan for school. I was talking to David too about school by email. He found sponsors for two children at first. He visited my school in 2007 with a group of Rotarian. He was chief guest of an award ceremony of my school. He talked his friends to raise the fund for Blue Sky School as he returned Australia. Margaret came again at my school in 2008 with some help. She arranged some computers, furniture, ping pong board and floor repairing. She sponsored three children herself. She is continuing her visit to school. David has sponsored 4 children from his family. He found more than 80 sponsor’s for needed and worthy student’s . With his help now we have a well equipped library and display board with his help. He provided me three months training program in South Australia through his Rotary Club of Brown hill where I visited about 16 different  schools . It was my great opportunity of my life. I had great chance to learn many things about school management and teaching technique. Now school has rented a better building .Many friends from Australia, German, Slovakia, USA are helping my school to develop it. I need a well equipped science and computer lab. My dream is to make this school a best school in this area and provide quality education for poor student’s . I request all friends to work together to support my campaign. I would like a special thanks to all friends who helped my school.
